For many people (me included), getting away from the inevitable anti-climax that comes with celebrating New Year's Eve in the UK sounds like a dream, especially if you are single. So, I've been digging out some exciting escorted tours and adventure tours that still have some availability this year - and the prices are not all that bad!
Bearing in mind how prices are usually hiked up for Christmas & New Year, escorted tours with some companies such as Explore! and The Adventure Company tend not to variate that much - so you can get away at this premium-priced period at pretty much the same cost as you'd get away with these companies year-round.

With such a huge range of updated, upmarket and premium tour companies catering for all kinds of people - and many with strict stipulations on the maximum numbers for one tour - you'll find that if the match is right for you, then you could end up being addicted to this way of holidaying.

We won't expect you to travel in the same style as this Bolivian family in the image, but escorted tours are the best choice if you prefer to let someone else take the strain of organising the transportation and planning your itinerary - allowing you to concentrate on seeing all the sights and attractions of the destination you are visiting, without worrying that you’ll be missing out (or that you’ll get lost!).
This type of travel is perfect for people who enjoy getting the most from their holiday and doing lots of sight-seeing, but who don’t want to get hot and bothered in arranging it. Some tour operators even offer a door-to-airport (and return) service, which means you don’t even have to go to the bother of booking a taxi to get you to your flight (if the tour operator doesn’t do this, of course, we are able to help you with airport transfers).
